"I'll have to disagree there." He says. "Seeing as they're gone, we must properly thank you and that other pony for the actions you did there." His eyes narrow a bit, but he keeps the smile. "Besides, you seem to know our names. How is that?"

Tomas fumbled with the jammer a bit, until the static has faded from the radios. He squinted at the device, then passed it to Oboro:

"Keep it close at hand. Just in case. To activate it, just press the large button in the middle. It should jam most radio frequencies in a 100 meter radius"

He nodded to you, then reached out to his earpiece: "HQ, this is unit 33, requesting a police escort on 35 Greenwood street, over"

The radio remained silent for a moment, before a muffled voice responded:
"Roger that 33. Wait ten. Over."

Tomas lowered his hand and sighed: "They should be here in 10 minutes. A police convoy. Should be significantly safer to travel with them"

Mira was leaning over her seat and looking at everyone with a distant, thoughtful expression:

"...Clopin could have set this mob up for us, huh.." she slowly said, looking at Moon: "I thought about it as well. Order us to protect Jane, then just start messing with us, sending thugs to harm her. See how we fare" she sighed and frowned at the floor:

"I just.. don't get why... there's no data on Jane in the police department. Nothing shows up on the glasses and she doesn't have any memories. Why harm her"

Jane sighed and sat closer to Violet: "..I just want to go home too, to be honest" she looked at the palms of her hands: "...don't even know where home is.
I think its somewhere in Adelheid though. I... think I.. lived here" she frowned at her palms:

"...damn... I can't shake this feeling... that... there's was something I had to do... something important... just... can't remember what it was" Jane sighed and rubbed her eyes in exhaustion.

As Arnold stepped outside and began talking with the mysterious mare, Tomas slowly stepped outside as well and stood slightly behind Arnold:

"...ma'am" he called: "My name is Sergeant Tomas Köhler, of the Adelheid police department. There's a police operation in progress, please identify yourself"

Standing slightly behind Arnold, Tomas slowly took a hold of the hilt of the katana on his belt, without it being seen by the mysterious mare, as Tomas was partly obscured by Arnold.

Tomas didn't look jumpy, but he seemed concentrated. Ready. Looking at the mare and trying to read her expression.

(Twilight)

"..we could try asking Mercer for help" Kaylee quietly whispered and slightly tilted her head towards the Councilor that sat nearby.

Mercer was scowling at Clopin and sitting very still. She never broke eye contact with him and she didn't look threatened in the slightest.
If anything, she looked extremely pissed off.

Clopin noticed the Councilor scowling at him and he slightly shook his head with a disapproving smile.

The Councilor scowled harder. Clopin looked away and continued to chat on the radio.

"It's not like those glasses know everything. My age is a mystery to them." She sighed , looking at Jane "Hey, it's ok, I'm sure it will come to you eventually. Just tell us if you remember something." Moon patted her on the shoulder.

(???)

The mare had an unreadable expression, turning into one of thought as she looked around. Examining escape routes. When she found none, she turned and ran off down the street.

The hooded figure's eyes glow green with red pupils and a purple haze blowing off them, as they dispell the crystals and turn them to powder. They then vanish into the shadows.

"Hey!" Naomi yelled then sprinted after the mare

(Serena)
"Don't become too reliant on those things." Serena had begun to search through the man's pockets taking out all of his belongings and placing them in a pile "and I strongly doubt it is Clopping who set us up. He was very clear on keeping Jane alive. So why give us those instructions, then send someone to kill her?

While Clopping is our concern right now, I don't believe he is who is primarily behind this. I'm leaning towards thinking that it might be the media. Who else has access to mass amounts of information and from what we know now has been altering that information to match their own goals?"

As the crystals turned into powder and the two unknown figures left, Tomas briefly extended his hand in their direction, then slowly lowered it, standing in place:

"Jeez, what just happened" he said aloud in confusion.

Jane looked at Moon and released a small smile: "..okay"

Mira sat on the van's floor and began looking over the growing pile of stuff, that Serena was pulling out of the thugs pockets.
A small knife, a cellphone with no battery left, a wallet with 23 credits inside and some car keys.

"...the media.. huh.." Mira said, falling in thought: "...this is one crazy conspiracy, but it makes sense. The UNN studio's recent activity is dodgy at best. Borderline criminal.
Twisting facts, lying on national television, firing employees who don't fall in line.

Now they suddenly have Jane's picture and they broadcast that news report... did you notice what they said in the end? On the last news broadcast?
They said 'Jane is a dangerous criminal. If you see her, proceed with caution'.
What they were supposed to say is 'Stay away from this dangerous individual and report her sighting to the police'.

But they didn't say that.. they said 'Proceed with caution'. As if, they wanted people to come after her. Pushed them towards it" Mira became grim, frowning at the floor: "...if this is true... this is some heavy-"

She didn't finish her sentence, as Amy Moore's voice suddenly rang in your earpiece:

"You guys! Where the hell are you!
You just faded off the face of the planet! This is the tenth time I'm calling!

Never mind! Listen! The hacker just went active again!

I think its the same one that hacked the Council Building! The signature matches!
I'm not sure what he's doing yet, but I think he's trying to access the Police Network.

The signal is coming from a public dance club named "U Medvedya".

"U.. Med-whaa?" Mira repeated, her eyebrows flying up.

"'U Medvedya'. Its a phrase on the Verrian language" Amy continued: "Translates as 'At the Bears', or 'The Bears Place'
Its a small club, open to public, so you shouldn't have trouble getting in"

Mira looked at you, biting her lip: "...what do we do?"

He layed a hand on Tomas's shoulder, with a smile.

"Don't worry friend, next time we'll get them for sure."

(Oboro)

She took a look at the thing, before she carefully tucked it away in a pocket.

"If we're lucky, it can jam the hacking. Though I doubt it."

She sat down in thought. "Guys, I dunno, I think we've just stumbled into something even bigger then we've bargained for. Think about it, we've got her here" She pointed to Jane. "Because this Cloppe-Clopin has the entire ruling force taken hostage. To pull that off, you've gotta be good. In the meantime, we're having trouble even doing his demands because the media hacks everywhere to hinder our progress with propagenda."

She then pondered, very similiar to Twilight. "... You think those two might be connected though? Clopin and the UNN? I would believe it, even if they're enemies. But a detour to take the hacker would be a risk, one that might not be worth it. What are the options?"

(Twilight)

She looked to the councilwoman, then back to Kaylee.
"Yeah, let's ask her. The more people we've got aligned, the better our chances."

Moon took the small knife and looked at it before frowning "So, we're visiting another club? Do you think we'll have any luck there?"

Violet sighs, "our mission is to take this woman to the Doctor..." she says in a more serious tone, "If we dont do that now we risk having her hurt... Especially after that broadcast..." she tinkers with the head of her baton, "if she gets hurt... The hostages get hurt... I think the counsole members are the people we should be thinking about here... Not a hacker... I say we make a streight shot to the building."

"We still can't just ignore the hacker," Serena had pocketed the money and had pulled out the phone card of the thug's cellphone. "I suggest we split up. Tackle both problems at once. And if we're lucky the solutions we find will overlap."

She inserted the small chip into her tablet and began to transfer the contents to her device.

(Naomi)
Upon hearing the broadcast from Amy, Naomi gave up on the pursuit and returned to the van. She stole a glance at the billboard again. Looking to see if it still held the same thing or had changed.

The hooded figure begins traversing the backalleys and sidestreets running alongside the mainroad, keeping pace with the mystery mare to see where she goes.

The mare ducked into an alley and leant against the wall, pulling an old phone from her pocket. She seemed to be textin someone as she rolled and lit a cigarette, placing it in her mouth as she texted. She gently used a hand to brush some hair from her face, not noticing she was being followed.

"Those things'll kill you, you know?" the hooded figure commented, sitting down on a bin left in the alleyway "Or at the very least, give you breath a hydra'd be envious of..."

"Well, people say the enemy of my enemy's still my enemy, but i like to wait until i have all the facts before i make those kinds of big descisions nowadays" the hooded figure replies, crossing their arms, "You took an interest in a certain group of motorists, i was wondering if you could enlighten me as to why?"

"And you aren't being very forthcoming identity-wise either, i wasn't going to mention it" the hooded figure waves a hand, "Just think of me as an old friend of theirs, who wants to know where you stand in regards to them, maybe compare notes we scribbled on the backs of restaurant menus?"

"Lucky, you actually get paid to do this; i'm doing this out of the goodness of my heart... well, that, and just a bit of professional curiosity" the hooded figure jumped down from the bin "I guess since we've agreed not to share Muzzlebook details with each other, you can't tell me who that paycheck comes from, right?"

"I don't know who the pay check comes from. But when someone gives me a suitcase full of money and asks me to spy, I don't ask who it's coming from. Only contact I have it this number on this phone, which I can only text to." She shrugged "Well, it's all port of the job." The mare smiled at him.

"The source's usually the second question i ask, right after the source's source recommending myself for the job in the first place" the hooded figure shrugs "It's nice to know who's still keeping tabs on me, gives me more warning of when things are about to go down."

"Never heard of him, but from what you've said, i'd wager he's a pretty cool, smart, and good-looking guy?" the hooded figure chuckled "He also sounds like the kind of person who'd pick up a lot of heat after a while, and have to change identities to continue his work; but that's just my opinion as someone who reads too many detective novels..."
